VACCINATION DRIVE

Uganda launched its mass COVID-19 vaccination program in March of 2021, joining a host of countries around the world in this drive. The country’s vaccination drive prioritized essential groups, starting with healthcare workers followed by teachers and those in high-risk groups, including the elderly.

KPI, as an essential service provider partnered with Naguru Hospital, a local hospital in their neighborhood and had more than 50% of their employees vaccinated. The vaccination drive was voluntary, and staff were encouraged to go get the jab to help curb the menace. The second vaccination of staff resumed on the 21st of June, as we complete the final dose of the COVAX
