KPI is part of AKDN and the overall goal of AKDN is improvement of quality of life in the areas where its member institutions work.

Hence, CSR at KPI is part of the business strategy and is regarded as a significant predictor of performance.

KPI has been involved in CSR since 2005 and won an award from the Uganda Chapter of Corporate Social Responsibility for being very consistent and exemplary.
